- Wash your hands before you eat or touch food, after you use the bathroom, after you work out at the gym, after you touch animals, after you cough or sneeze or use a tissue.
- IF you are sick, stay home!
- Keep your body and immune system healthy! Walk outside, eat fruits, vegetables, whole grains and healthy protein such as beans, lentils and nuts.
- Exercise in the morning. Take a yoga class for relaxation, stretching and strength building.
- Read reputable websites such as the CDC and WHO. Trust the people who are trained in medicine and science to give us guidance.
- Care about your community!! Remember that coronavirus is a public health issue. While you may not be at risk for serious illness, there are many in our community who are. Also, our health care system must be protected. An overwhelmed health care system will gravely affect anyone needing medical attention regardless for coronavirus illness or not.
